What is the Basket Order?
A basket order is a feature that allows you to place multiple orders & strategies at the same time. While creating a basket, all you need to do is create collective orders in a basket and execute them in a single click and use them anytime in the future.
Things you can do using 5paisa Basket Order:
- Add a maximum of 10 orders to a single Basket.
- Single click hedging (multiple orders execution)
- Know the combined margin required for all orders of a basket
- Copy all the orders of the basket by using the clone feature i.e. you can restore the similar executed order from an inactive section of the basket order.
- Edit /Modify orders in the basket.
- Delete multiple baskets in one click.
How to Create a basket order?
Using Basket order will make your trade go smooth and steady. All you need to do is:
Go to the Book page and Select the Basket tab then click on create a basket
Active Basket- The Active basket is a basket that you create with the accumulation of the stocks and derivatives of your choice, which will look like this-
In the basket named 'sample,' you can see on the screen (+)stock option by clicking on it, you can add any individual stocks or derivatives and add them to the basket
Also, on the same page on the top middle line, you can see the 'Margin Required' section, which is the margin option that shows how much a certain amount of money upfront we are required for executing the available basket order.
Inactive Basket- An Inactive Basket is where you'll find all the executed orders from the active basket. These same inactive orders can be copied and restored in the active category as a new order. This process is known as the cloning method.
