1) What is car insurance?
Car Insurance or 4W insurance is mandatory in India regardless of whether it is a commercial vehicle or a personal vehicle. Car insurance is an agreement between the insurance company and the car owner wherein, the car owner will pay premiums and the insurance company covers any unforeseen loss or damage caused to the car.

2) Where can I buy car insurance at 5paisa?
Any 5paisa user can buy 4W/Car insurance. Insurance options can be found at home or in the user section > financial products. 

3) What is the process of purchasing car insurance?
Select the car insurance option on the insurance page. Provide the vehicle registration number. Select the desired cover comprehensive/ Third party and make the payment. The policy is forwarded instantly over email.

4) Where will I receive the insurance policy?
Policy will be forwarded immediately over email in pdf format.
 
5) What is the process of claim intimation?
Usually, the claims intimation process is mentioned in the policy pdf itself. In this case, the Digit policy pdf has the contact details/process to initiate a claim. The claim process is digital.
