How to add funds using Net Banking?

To transfer funds to your 5paisa trading account using net banking, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to 5paisa Mobile App: Open the 5paisa mobile app on your device and log in to your account.
  2. Access the "User" Tab: Navigate to the "User" tab within the app.
  3. Select "Add Funds": Choose the "Add Funds" option to initiate the transfer process.
  4. Enter Transfer Amount: Input the amount you wish to transfer to your 5paisa trading account.
  5. Choose Net Banking Option: Select the "Net banking" option as your preferred mode of transfer.
  6. Redirect to Bank's Website: You'll be redirected to your bank's website to proceed with the transaction.
  7. Log in to Net Banking: Use your bank credentials to log in to your Net Banking account securely.
  8. Authorise Transaction: Follow the prompts on your bank's website to authorise the transaction and complete the process.
  9. Transaction Confirmation: Once the transaction is successfully authorised, the transferred amount will be credited to your 5paisa trading account.

Transaction Charges

 Be aware of the applicable transaction charges based on your plan (Basic, Power Investor, or Ultra Trader) for net banking transfers, as listed below:

  • Basic Plan: ₹10
  • Power Investor Plan: ₹10
  • Ultra Trader Plan: Free

After completing these steps, your funds should be updated in your 5paisa trading account in real time. However, in certain scenarios, you may experience delays in the fund updation process, as outlined below:


1. Transaction Failure: If your bank confirms a successful transaction, but it reflects as a "failure" on the 5paisa platform, it could be due to issues at the bank's end. In such cases, the bank typically reconciles the transaction on the next working day, with funds updated within 48-72 hours.

2. Delayed Confirmation: Sometimes, despite a successful transaction, the bank may delay confirming it to 5paisa. In such instances, it may take 45-60 minutes for the funds to reflect in your trading account.

 For any other unusual scenarios, the fund updation typically occurs within 15-30 minutes. If your bank is not among the 40 supported banks, alternative fund transfer methods are available.
