How do I open a commodity account?

5Paisa does not open a separate commodity account. It provides an all-in-one account, incorporating all segments (Equity, Derivatives, Commodity, Currency, and Mutual Funds) for trading.

If you already have a trading and demat account with 5paisa, activating the MCX segment for commodities trading incurs no additional charges.

Activation Steps:

To activate your commodity segment, follow these steps:

Through Mobile App:

  1. Login to 5paisa App: Access your account via the mobile app.
  2. Navigate to Profile: Go to User -> My Profile.
  3. Manage Segment Details: Select the "Manage" option.
  4. Add Segment: Click on "Segment Details" and then "Add Segment."
  5. Select Income Range: Choose your income range from the options provided.
  6. Submit Request: Click on "Submit" and upload the required documents.

Through Web:
