When transferring funds to your 5paisa trading account, the credit
time depends on the mode of transfer and whether the bank account used is
registered with 5paisa.
Scenario 1: Funds transferred from a registered bank account with 5paisa
a) Transaction shows "Success" in Add Funds History:
- If transferred via UPI App / UPI ID / UPI QR / Net Banking / IMPS, funds are
updated in real-time. In rare cases, there may be a delay of 10–15 minutes.
- If transferred via NEFT / RTGS, funds are typically updated within a couple
of hours as per banking TAT.
b) Transaction shows "Pending" in Add Funds History:
- This may happen if your bank has not confirmed the debit with NPCI or the
Payment Gateway.
- The transaction remains in "Pending" state for 15–30 minutes (or
more time in edge cases) awaiting confirmation from Bank / Gateway.
- If confirmation is received, the funds will be updated instantly.
- If confirmation is not received, funds will be refunded to your bank account
within 2–3 working days.
c) Transaction shows "Failed" in Add Funds History:
- If the amount is debited from your bank account, the funds will be refunded
to your bank account within 2–3 working days. You may also contact your bank
for refund status.
- Always ensure fund transfers are made from your registered bank account for
seamless processing.
Scenario 2: Funds transferred from an unregistered bank account with 5paisa
- Funds transferred from an unregistered bank account are treated as
third-party transfers and are not accepted by 5paisa as per compliance.
- These funds will not be credited to your trading account.
- The transaction will typically be reversed by your bank within 2–5 working
days.
- You can contact your bank to track the refund status.
- To avoid such issues, please ensure the fund transfer is initiated from a
registered and verified bank account.
