How to activate POA for Your Demat Account ? What happens if I do not activate?
POA is not
mandatory. However, it is advisable to provide POA for seamless transaction
processing when you sell shares, apply for buyback, rights etc.
POA soft copy
is provided at the time of account activation on your registered email, this is
prefilled with your details. You may also write to support@5paisa.com requesting a POA copy. We shall email you the
POA, print and fill in the details. Courier it to us, post receipt of the
hard copy we will map to your account.
