How to change the TPIN for selling shares?

Follow these simple steps to update your TPIN securely through the CDSL website:

Step 1: Visit the CDSL TPIN Page

* Go to the official TPIN change page on the CDSL website.

Step 2: Enter Your Details

* Provide your BO ID and PAN number.
* Click Next to proceed.



Step 3: Verify with OTP

* An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number and email ID.
* Enter the OTP and click Next.

Step 4: Set Your New TPIN

* Once OTP verification is successful, you'll be prompted to create a new TPIN.



Step 5: TPIN Activation

* Your new TPIN will be activated shortly—usually within 6 minutes. You can use it after that time.



How to Find Your BO ID in the 5Paisa App:

1. Open the 5Paisa app and log in.
2. Tap on Stocks.
3. Go to the User section (bottom right corner).
4. Tap on My Profile (your name at the top).
5. Select Manage > Demat Account Details.
6. Your DP Account No. (BO ID) will be listed there.
