Here’s
a clear step-by-step guide to changing your TPIN for selling shares through the
CDSL website:
1. Visit the
CDSL Website:
o
Go to CDSL’s
TPIN change page.
2. Enter
Details:
o Input your BO
ID and PAN number.

o Click on Next.
3.
Receive OTP:
o
You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number and email
ID from CDSL.
o
Enter the OTP and click on Next.
4.
Enter New TPIN:
o After successful
OTP verification, you will be prompted to enter a new TPIN.

5.
Activation:
o The newly
generated TPIN will take some time to activate. It can be used after
approximately 6 minutes.

Note: The “Forgot CDSL PIN” link on the authorisation screen will not
work during market hours (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM).
To Find Your BO ID:

Open the 5paisa App.
·
Go to the User Section.
·
Navigate to My Profile.
·
Select Modify and then Demat Account Details.
·
Your DP Account No. (BO ID) will be listed there.
