How to find DP ID and Client ID?

To find your DP ID and Client ID:

1. Refer to Documentation: Check the welcome kit or account opening documents provided by your Depository Participant (DP). Your DP ID and Client ID are usually mentioned there.

2. Review Statements: Look at your Demat account statements or contract notes issued by your DP. The DP ID and Client ID are often printed on these documents.

3. Online Access: If you have online access to your Demat account, log in to the DP's website or mobile app. You can typically find your DP ID and Client ID in the account details or profile section.

4. Contact DP: If you're unable to locate your DP ID and Client ID, reach out to your Depository Participant directly. They will assist you in retrieving this information.

You can locate your DP ID and Client ID in the profile section of your broking account. Here's how:

A. If your DEMAT account is with CDSL:

   - Both the DP ID and Client ID will consist of eight digits each.

   - For example, if your Demat number/ID is 0577057744224422, your DP ID is 05770577, and your Client ID is 44224422.

B. If your DEMAT account is with NSDL:

   - Both the DP ID and Client ID will be eight characters long, starting with 'IN' followed by numeric characters.

   - For example, if your Demat number/ID is IN12345678912345, your DP ID is IN123456, and your Client ID is 78912345.

Alternatively, you can find your DP ID and Client ID in your E-CAS statements, which are sent to the email address associated with your broking account.
