How to revoke the Power Of Attorney (POA) and Demat Debit and Pledge Instruction (DDPI) mapped to 5Paisa?

There is no online process to revoke or cancel the DDPI (Demat Debit and Pledge Instruction) or POA (Power of Attorney) linked to your 5paisa account. To initiate this process, follow these steps:

Email Request: 

  • Compose an email to support@5paisa.com with the subject line: ‘REVOKE/REMOVE DDPI/POA’.
  • In the body of the email, clearly state your request to remove the DDPI or POA authorisation from your account.

Upon receiving your request, our team will verify your details and make the necessary changes to revoke the DDPI or POA. 

Verification and Processing Time: 

The turnaround time (TAT) for revoking the DDPI or POA is approximately 48 hours after successful KYC verification. Please note that this process may take longer, depending on the Central Depository Services Limited (CDSL) response.
