How to Unpledge the mutual fund?
To avail Mutual Fund unpledge facility as collateral for taking a derivative position then follow the path mentioned below-
- Login to 5paisa Web/App
- Tap on mutual fund and click on holdings
- Click on the Unpledge button/tab and select the mutual fund scheme that you wish to unpledge against collateral
- Click on the confirm button
Once you select the units to unpledge, the required margin will be calculated and displayed on your screen. Then, you need to maintain the said sum of the margin in your ledger for the units to get unpledged successfully.
Please Note:
- It takes 24 to 48 hours for the mutual fund schemes to be unpledged
- The unpledge facility will be available from 8 am to 4 pm (Monday-Friday)
- No open position request will be placed in b/w 8Am to 4PM (Mon-Fri)
