Important Regulatory Update Affecting Trading Limits Starting August 1, 2024

Dear Client,

There is to inform you about an important regulatory update which might affect your trading limits starting from August 1, 2024.

SEBI, vide its circular no. SEBI/HO/MRD/MRD-PoD-3/P/CIR/2024/65 dated May 29, 2024, with respect to Norms for Acceptable Collateral and Exposure of Clearing Corporationhas updated the rules for acceptance of collateral from the clients and subsequent exposure thereon. Further, NSE vide its circular dated July 8, 2024, provided that NCL shall accept only those securities which fulfil the criteria provided in the said circular for approved securities to be accepted as collaterals. Equity securities not fulfilling the said criteria shall not be accepted as collaterals from August 01, 2024.

Consequent to the above circular, it is hereby brought to your notice that certain securities won’t be accepted as collaterals after August 1, 2024.

You are therefore requested to take note of the above change and arrange for additional collaterals either in form of funds or acceptable collaterals in lieu of the unacceptable collaterals, so as to avoid liquidation of your positions from the RMS team.

We solicit your prompt action so that you continue with your hassle free trading experience.

A list of these securities is attached herewith for your quick reference.

Warm Regards,

Team 5paisa Capital
