What all order types one can execute through Quantower?

Through Quantower, users can execute various order types, including:

  • Market Orders: These orders are executed at the current market price.
  • Limit Orders: Users specify a price at which they are willing to buy or sell, and the order is executed when the market reaches that price.
  • Stop Orders: These orders are triggered when the market reaches a certain price level, after which they become market orders.
  • Stop Limit Orders: It is similar to stop orders, but users also specify a limit price. Once the stop price is reached, the order becomes a limit order with the specified limit price.
  • Bracket Orders: These orders consist of a main order and two conditional orders (profit target and stop-loss). If the main order is executed, the profit target and stop-loss orders are automatically placed.
  • Cover Orders: A cover order is a combination of a market order and a stop-loss order. When the market order is executed, a stop-loss order is simultaneously placed to limit potential losses.
