Pre-Market Session (NSE & BSE):

* Timing: 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM
* Purpose: Designed to reduce volatility and determine opening prices for stocks.
* Order Placement: Clients can place both limit and market orders.
* Order Handling: From 9:00 AM to 9:08 AM, exchanges allow order entry, modification, and cancellation.
* Order Matching: Between 9:07 AM and 9:08 AM, exchanges match orders and confirm trades.

Post-Closing Session (NSE & BSE):

* Timing: 3:40 PM to 4:00 PM
* Order Types: Only market orders are allowed during this session.
* Segment: Applicable to equity delivery trades only.
* Order Placement: Clients can place buy or sell market orders in the equity delivery segment.
* Execution: Orders are executed at the closing price of the regular trading session.
* Example: If Reliance closes at ₹800 at 3:30 PM, any market order placed between 3:40 PM and 4:00 PM will execute at ₹800.
* Activity Level: Generally less active compared to regular trading hours.
* Market Depth: You can monitor stock activity and movements by checking the market depth during this time.
