Example for your refernece-

Equity:

If you bought 100 quantities at ₹100 and then sold at ₹105. And 50 quantities were again bought at ₹110.

Intraday transaction is for 100 quantities

STT for Intraday trade is 100*105*0.025% = ₹2.625

Delivery transaction is for 50 quantities

STT for Delivery trade is 50*110*0.1% =₹5.5

Futures:

1 Lot of ITC future Contract has 1600 units

The Price of 1 unit is ₹495

The Contract value of 1 lot of ITC Future is 1600*₹495 = ₹7,92,000

Then, STT = 0.0125%*792000 = ₹99

Option:

1 Lot of ITC future Contract has 1600 units

The Strike price of ITC call option is ₹490

Sold the premium ₹20

The Premium received is 1600*₹20 = ₹3200

Then, STT = 0.0625%*3200 = ₹2

Exercised Contract:

1 Lot of ITC future Contract has 1600 units

The Strike price of ITC call option is ₹490

The spot price of the ITC call option = ₹496.20

STT on the intrinsic value of options that are bought and exercised = 0.125% * 1600 (₹496.20 - ₹490) = ₹12 (₹12.4 rounded down to the nearest rupee)
