What happens if the market moves beyond the MPP range?

If the market price moves beyond the allowed protection range, your order will not be executed beyond the protected price.
As a result, the order may:
  • Remain partially executed
  • Remain unexecuted
  • Continue waiting for the market price to return within the protected range
For example, if a buy order has a protected price of ₹2,412 and the market moves directly to ₹2,420, the order will not execute at ₹2,420. It may remain pending until a price within the allowed range becomes available.
This reduces the risk of execution at an extreme price, but it also means that MPP does not guarantee complete or immediate execution.
