What is a daily margin statement?

A daily margin statement is a report provided to clients that offers insights into their margin status. It includes details about deposited margins, such as fund transfers and pledged collaterals, as well as blocked margins for existing or initiated positions.

The purpose of the report is to inform clients about:

·        Exchange margin requirements for held or initiated positions.

·        Availability of free margins within the account for new positions.

·        Margin deficits within the account prompt clients to ensure adequate funds to prevent margin penalties.

Note: The daily margin statements are sent to the registered email address on trading days. This ensures that traders receive timely updates about their margin requirements, helping them stay informed and manage their trading activities effectively.
