A watchlist is a customizable list of securities (stocks, indices, futures contracts, etc.) that traders and investors want to monitor regularly. It allows users to keep track of the performance and movements of specific assets without having to search for them every time they want to check their prices or other relevant information.
Here's how you can add scripts to a watchlist on web trading platform:
Access the Watchlist: You can access the watchlist directly from the stocks section of the web trading platform.
Search for the Scrip: Enter the name or symbol of the scrip you want to add to the watchlist in the search bar provided at the top. For example, let's say you want to add the 5Paisa stock to the watchlist.
Hover and Select: When the search results populate, hover your cursor over the relevant scrip.
Add to Watchlist: In the options provided, look for the bookmark icon, which typically represents adding to a watchlist. Click on this icon.
Select Watchlist: Clicking on the icon will open a list of watchlists you currently have created or that are available by default. Select the watchlist(s) to which you want to add the scrip. You can choose multiple watchlists if needed.
Add the Scrip: After selecting the watchlist(s), click on the "Add" button. This action will add the scrip to the selected watchlists.
Accessing Watchlists: To access the individual watchlists and view the scrips added to them, navigate to the bottom section of the watchlist interface.
Note: Web Trading platform typically allows users to add up to 50 scrips in each watchlist. You can add any stock, index, or contract to your watchlist for monitoring purposes.
