What is Know Your Customer (KYC), and how can the KYC status be checked?

SEBI has been instructed to upload all client data acquired via the KYC procedure to the KRA agency. The KRA agency acts as the main hub for client information for different brokers. Only after the data has been uploaded, thoroughly validated, and registered with the KRA agency can a new account be opened.

Please take the following actions to verify the KYC data's current status:

  • Step 1: Visit cvlkra.com.
  • Step 2: Click on ‘KYC inquiry.’
  • Step 3: Enter your PAN number.
  • Step 4: Input the captcha.
  • Step 5: Click on the ‘submit’ button to fetch the status.
