When I purchase shares in equity delivery, when can I expect them to be credited to my Demat account?
Generally, for equity delivery transactions, the shares are expected to be credited to your Demat account within one trading days from the date of the purchase. This is known as the T+1 settlement cycle, where "T" represents the transaction date.
At the end of the T+1 day the shares move to your Demat account only if the there is no outstanding balance pending.
