How to open a 5paisa Demat account offline?

If your mobile number is linked to the Aadhaar card, and you are a resident Indian individual then the Demat account process can be initiated online.

Note- As per the regulations, new accounts cannot be opened if the PAN card number is not linked with Aadhar card. Even if Aadhar is successfully linked with PAN, it must still be updated in the IT records, which can take up to 3 working days.

In Offline procedure, we have two ways to open an account-
  1. Manual
  2. Pre-filed
For Manual Process

You have to courier the account opening form by manually filling out the AOF (Account Opening Form) along with the required documents mentioned below to 5paisa Head Office. 

Documents Required:
  1. PAN Card
  2. Address Proof (Aadhar Card preferred)
  3. Bank Proof
  4. Income Proof (For derivatives & currency segment)
  5. Photograph 
Note: If bank verification fails, the user is required to submit another bank proof (passbook, etc)
 
For Pre-filed Process

There is an option to complete the part of the process online. The user needs to complete the steps mentioned below. Then, download the AOF (form will be pre-filled) received at your registered email address. Get it print out and sign the form manually. Then, send the same via courier to 5paisa's head office address.

Step 2: KYC verification (PAN Card)
Step 3: Bank Details and Personal Details
Step 4: Upload Documents
Step 5: Download AOF (received on your registered email)
